Tindahlaup - Mosfellsbær

On August 29th, we joined Tindahlaup in Mosfellsbær, and this one became something truly special for us.

I reached out to one of the organizers, Biggi, about a week before the race to ask whether HUMAN+ could be part of the event.

We had just added a proper tent, table, promotional stands and a few decorations to our event setup, so even though we didn’t have all of our original branded materials ready yet, we were excited to finally put everything together.

From the very first message, Biggi was incredibly welcoming and open to having us there. “Bring the tent, bring whatever you need, there would be other partners on site, and we would be happy to have you!”

The first race started at 9 AM, while the team began gathering around 7. We arrived at about 7:30 to get everything ready, and the energy we felt from Biggi and the rest of the team that morning is something we still remember.

Hundreds of runners came together to take on four different distances - 12.4 km, 19 km, 34.4 km and 38.2 km - each offering a different level of challenge through the trails and mountains around Mosfellsbær.

Before every start, everyone came together for a group warm-up with music, led by Halla - an amazing woman with seemingly endless energy. It was impossible not to get involved. Even while standing inside our HUMAN+ tent, we found ourselves joining every single warm-up.

The atmosphere throughout the event was fantastic. Runners had access to plenty of refreshments, including fruit, different drinks and protein, while the event's main partner, Sportís, also had a stand with running gear and other sports essentials.

And then there was our little HUMAN+ corner.

Throughout the day, we had dozens of conversations with runners who stopped by to learn about FLOW, ask questions or simply say hi. Several people decided to put the strips on and try them right there before their race - and seeing their immediate reactions was probably one of our favourite parts of the entire day.

Sometimes you don't need a long explanation. The reaction says enough.

FLOW wasn't only at our stand either. We were happy to provide full packs for the winners across the different categories, as well as additional packs for the event lottery.

We hope they're still being put to good use!

What made Tindahlaup stand out for us, though, wasn't just the race itself.

It was the people behind it.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we packed everything away, we felt genuinely welcomed.

An amazing event made even better by an amazing group of people.

Thank you, Biggi, Halla, the entire Tindahlaup team, all the volunteers, partners and every runner who stopped by our stand and spent a few minutes with us.

We hope this was only the beginning of our relationship with Tindahlaup.

See you next time!
